I had my birthday lunch in one of the gorgeous private dining rooms. The staff and atmosphere were incredibly welcoming and all efforts were made to make my day a truly special experience. Such a great hidden gem!

We attended Lava Ristorante Wine Night (Monthly Event) which entailed an indulgent culinary journey through Sicily. The amazing experience encompassed exquisite meals perfectly paired with four exceptional wines all from the beautiful region of Sicily. We opted for Gluten Free dishes for the evening and received beyond perfect dishes. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Italy and enjoy a fine dining experience like no other, complete with Live Italian Music by Zumba. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, and we highly recommend booking as it is an amazing dining experience!

The service was really lovely and the restaurant itself was quite modern. The photos and reviews really put high expectation for us dining here.. but it was such a miss. The only good dishes we both really enjoyed were the arancini and the margherita pizza. The other three dishes we ordered were so disappointing. The meatballs were on the dry side and the sauce was just lacking so much flavour. The veal scaloppine's mushroom sauce was delicious, however, the veal was bland without it, and the salad on the side was pretty.. lame - should probably do something more filling like mashed potato when paying $35. The Fusilli Funghi e Speck was way too salty/smoked from the speck, and not funghi at all. It also looked like it was topped with pre-packaged grated parmesan.. Tried the donuts too which were nice - could maybe serve with ice cream? Idk.

Highly recommend this amazing authentic Italian restaurant. The staff were so helpful, friendly and caring. We felt so well looked after and the food was amazing! I can’t recommend this place enough! Bridie and her team went out of their way to accommodate everywhere they could. Thanks again Bridie and the team. We've had pizza from Lava a few times (Easily the best in the Teneriffe/New Farm area) but my husband and I dined in for his birthday this week and had such a wonderful evening. The service, food and wine were all fantastic. Hands down the best Orecchiette I've eaten outside the south of Italy! No surprise when the friendly & talented chefs are all Southerners. What an absolute gem of a place. Can't wait to return.

I’m always down for some delicious Italian food! The experience I had at @lavaristorante was nothing but amazing! 🥰 They serve delicious food with a big nod to Sicilian dishes, while showcasing cuisines from specific regions of Italy 🇮🇹🍕🍝 The restaurant is located in Teneriffe with street parking available. The interior is very spacious and beautifully designed which makes it perfect for a variety of occasions! The staff is really nice and welcoming so you will be well-looked after! 🙌 At Lava Ristorante, you will be able to enjoy some beautiful wine from @Italiquore_wines and cheeses locally sourced from Brisbane’s very own @Tamborine_cheese 😍

Slice of pizza or slice of heaven ❣️ Lava Ristorante will have you enjoying every bite. Everything was amazing including the venue itself. Spacious and welcoming, it has a great family feel. Next time you are looking for an amazing Italian feed head straight here 🙌🤤
